The following postdoc position in machine learning and computational
modeling as applied to cognitive learning is available at Indiana
University, Program in Cognitive Science.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position working with Dr.
Chen Yu and Dr. Linda B. Smith to study issues in statistical
learning, multimodal learning, and embodied cognition. The research
involves data mining of multisensory data and/or eye tracking and/or
statistical modeling. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in
Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Engineering or a
related field. Excellent programming skills, experience with C/C++ and
Matlab, and a background in machine learning, and computer vision or
statistical language learning, are highly desirable.

The initial appointment will be for one year but renewable for another
two years. The position is open immediately and salary is commensurate
with NIH levels (plus benefits).
