Faculty Position in Neural Engineering
Description & Requirement
The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Fu Foundation School
of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University invites
applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant,
Associate or Full Professor level in Neural Engineering. Level of
appointment depends on qualification. Specific areas of interest
include: neuroimaging, neural tissue engineering, neuromorphic
engineering, computational neural modeling and brain machine
interfaces. Successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to
develop a world-class research program, be capable of obtaining
competitive external research funding, and participate in and be
committed to outstanding teaching at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels. The candidate should have a doctorate in Biomedical
Engineering or a related discipline.

reprints, a statement of research interests, a statement of teaching
experience and philosophy, and names and contact information for four
