Research Officer / Senior Research Officer / Research Fellow
The University of Queensland, St Lucia Campus, Brisbane, Australia

The ARC Centre for Complex Systems (ACCS) and ARC Centre for 
Bioinformatics (ACB) have a jointly-funded position available for a 
researcher to participate in a project in the area of computational 
modelling of genetic regulatory networks (GRN). The project seeks to 
characterise the computational nature of genetic regulatory networks 
within a control paradigm in order to generalise insights from the 
biological systems to other complex systems. The project is supervised by 
A/Prof Janet Wiles. The role of the Research Officer/ Senior Research 
Officer / Research Fellow is to design, implement and analyse genetic 
regulatory networks in collaboration with ACCS and ACB researchers, and to 
develop appropriate tools. The Centres seek a motivated and innovative 
person with good modelling skills to provide support to the project. 
Applicants should have a background in software engineering or a related 
field.
