The Brainstormers, current World Champion in RoboCup Soccer Simulation
league 2D, proudly announce the release of major parts of their source
code.

The aim of the Brainstormers project at the Neuroinformatics Group at
the University of Osnabrueck is to demonstrate the succesful
application of machine learning techniques (in particular Neural
Reinforcement Learning methods) in competition. The released source
code therefore contains a large amount of examples of learned skills
and team behaviours, such as NeuroIntercept, NeuroGo2Position,
NeuroKick, NeuroAttack etc.

The code release is mainly meant to provide a good starting point for
new teams in RoboCup but also might provide useful stimulations
for more advanced teams (in particular concerning the learnt modules)
and for researchers in Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning.
