2004 EDINBURGH SUMMER SCHOOL IN NEUROINFORMATICS SIMULATION TOOLS

This summer school in Neuroinformatics Simulation Tools is a
five day intensive course which will provide a practical
introduction to using neuroscience simulation tools including NEURON
and Catacomb for computational modelling of neural systems.
The course will be held at the e-Science Institute in the centre of
Edinburgh and
will include talks from invited speakers as well as practical
hands-on experience using the latest simulation tools.
The course is aimed at PhD students, postdocs and faculty in
neuroscience
and related disciplines wishing to learn how to apply computational
modelling techniques to their research problems.
Bursaries are available for PhD students to help with travel and
accommodation costs.
