1.                "RAMON y CAJAL" position


Computational and Systems Neuroscience / a five year position in Madrid
 
 
Interested candidates are invited to apply for a "Ramon y Cajal"
position for research work in Computational and Systems Neuroscience
at the "Group of Computational Neuroscience", Universidad Autonoma de
Madrid, Spain.
 
 
These are five year positions co-funded by the Spanish Ministery of
Science and Technology and the Universities. This is the third year
that these contracts are given in Spain and more information about

Candidates are expected to work in interaction with the
theoretical team of the Computational Neuroscience group
to carry out joint work on information processing in the brain

2.                POSTDOCTORAL position (Fundacion Carolina)




Postdoctoral position available in Theoretical Neuroscience
in the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM, Spain)
for nationals from Latin-american countries.

Candidates should first select a research group in a Spanish
University or Institute.  The "Computational Neuroscience Group",
Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, offers the possibility to work on
several aspects of theoretical neuroscience.
 
Eligible candidates with a Ph. D. in neuroscience or a related
scientific discipline (e.g. physics, maths or computer science) and
with good background and interest in theoretical neurobiology are
encouraged to send their curriculum vitae and a brief description of
