"Sensory coding and the natural environment:
                 Probabilistic models of perception"

                       June 30 - July 5, 2002
                     Mount Holyoke College, MA

stimuli, and how nervous systems exploit these statistics to form
useful representations of the environment. Topics include sensory
neurophysiology, perceptual psychology, and the mathematics of
signal statistics, applied to a variety of sensory modalities and
  organisms.

Applications received by MARCH 1, 2002 will receive full consideration.
(Late applications may be considered if there is space available.)
