COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE OF SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PROCESSING
 
The Medical College of Wisconsin
 
The Language Imaging Laboratory, Department of Neurology, Medical
College of Wisconsin, announces an NIH-funded postdoctoral position in
cognitive neuroscience of language processes. Applicants will join a
research team studying word recognition, speech perception, semantics,
and language development using fMRI, neural network modeling, and
event-related potentials.  Computer proficiency and exposure to
computational models of language processing are desirable. Facilities
include state-of-the-art 3T and 1.5T fMRI systems dedicated to
research and supported by a large physics and engineering core. Ample
scanner time and training in fMRI techniques will be provided.
Applicants should have a PhD in experimental psychology, linguistics,
cognitive neuroscience, computing science, or related field. Send
