Postdoc position at UC Davis: modeling basal ganglia in Parkinson's

POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW University of California Davis, Center for Neuroscience 
and Department of Neurology. A postdoctoral fellow with strong quantitative 
skills is sought to perform analysis and modeling of neural activity 
recorded from basal ganglia and thalamus in Parkinson's Disease patients. 
The goal of the project is to understand the dynamics of the basal 
ganglia-thalamocortical network and how it relates to behavior and to the 
motor symptoms of PD. The project is led by a collaborative team of 
investigators: Drs. Karen Sigvardt of UC Davis, Charles Gray of Montana 
State University and Nancy Kopell of Boston University. UCD Center for 
Neuroscience has a strong, diverse faculty with research interests ranging 
from cellular to cognitive neuroscience (http://neuroscience.ucdavis.edu ). 
Candidates with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Physics, Computer Science or 
related fields are encouraged to apply. Salary is commensurate with
