Research and Development Team Leader

The Research and Development Group (RDG) at Crux Cybernetics
is responsible for research, development and commercial implementation
of machine learning, artificial intelligence and constraint
satisfaction application software using web, wireless,
and e-commerce technologies. The group has a broad range of
skills covering areas like speech recognition, image processing
and financial time series analysis. To find out more about

RDG requires the services of a person to act as a research and
development specialist and team leader. The primary responsibilities
are leading a team to carry out research, consultancy, design,
& implementation of artificial intelligent software solutions.
Utilisation and interfacing with several related technologies and
business process models and methodologies and keeping up to date
with relevant research will be required.

Essential:
=B7	A Ph. D.  in Physics, Engineering or applied Mathematics in an
	Artificial Intelligence topic
=B7	Publication track record in relevant areas
=B7	At least three years experience in applied research and development
=B7	Excellent communication and presentation skills
=B7	Able to write clear and accurate research proposals and reports
=B7	Fluent in C++, C, PERL and shell scripting languages
=B7	Familiar in at least one of the following prototyping and analysis
	tools: Matlab, IDL, Splus, Mathematica or Statit
=B7	Experience in html and cgi
=B7	NT, Unix & Linux operation system experience
=B7	Leadership qualities
=B7	Management potential
