NNESMED 2001

4th International Conference on
Neural Networks and Expert Systems in Medicine and Healthcare
Milos Island, Greece, 20-22 June 2001
Web site address: http://www.heliotopos.net/conf/nnesmed2001/

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

NNESMED 2001 is organised by the Department of Applied Informatics and
Multimedia of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. Previous
conferences held in Plymouth (94,96) and in Pisa (98), attracted a strong
international participation.

The conference brings together researchers from different AI modalities with
a focus on integrated, practical healthcare applications. The traditional
single-track format for all presentations fosters discussion and information
exchange among those working in these inter-related fields, reflecting
increasing interest from clinicians in healthcare informatics at every
level.
