Thanks to the sponsorship of IEEE Signal Processing Society and the
IEEE Neural Networks Council, the tenth of a series of IEEE workshops
on Neural Networks for Signal Processing will be held at the
University of Sydney, Australia December 11-13, 2000.
The workshop will feature a high quality technical program, and three
invited plenary speeches presented by experts in the field:
- Professor Tamás Roska (Hungarian Academy of Sciences)
Signal Processing via Neural Networks become practical - via Analogic
TeraOPS Visual Microprocessor Chips.
- Dr. David Fogel (Natural Selection, Inc.)
Evolving Models for Signal Processing.
- Dr. Brian Ferguson (Defence Science and Technology Organisation)
Signal Processing Applications for Submarines, Surveillance
and Survival.
In addition, Professor Sun-Yan Kung of Princeton University will present
a joint keynote speech on
"Adaptive Techniques for Intelligent Internet Multimedia Communication".
to the workshop and the First IEEE Pacific-Rim Conference on Multimedia.
The workshop is being held in conjuction with the First IEEE
Pacific-Rim Conference on Multimedia (2000 International Symposium
on Multimedia Information Processing). The public are cordially
invited to participate in this important event.
