Post-doctoral Research Associate (full time)
Connectionist modeller
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral RA to work as part of a
multi-disciplinary team, led by Professor L K. Tyler, investigating the
interface between functional and neural accounts of the language system.
Candidates should have a strong background and training in connectionist
modelling and an interest in semantics and/or morphology and will be
expected to contribute to the research programme by developing and
analysing computational models with the aim of extending and testing
theoretical accounts and generating novel predictions. Related
experience in psycholinguistics, neuropsychology or neuroimaging would
also be an advantage.
This post is funded for a maximum of 5 years, starting as soon as
possible. Salary will be on the RA1A scale =A315735 - =A323,651 (under
review) according to age and experience.=20
