FACULTY POSITION IN COMPUTER VISION

CS-Department, Technical University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany

The Department for Computer Science solicits application for a tenured
faculty position (salary level C3) in the area of image acquisition, 
processing, and understanding.

The successful candidate is expected to join the department's undergraduate
teaching programs, as well as the graduate education in the area of Computer
Vision. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in German after
one year.

Requirements:

Ph.D. degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or neighboring
fields; Habilitation or equivalent achievements; research experience in
in the field of computer vision; a strong publication record; teaching
experience; track record in acquiring research grants. Experience in
application areas like biomedicine, automation and control, or robotics is
desirable.
