An exciting 20 MONTH post is IMMEDIATELY available for a Vision
Scientist
You will LEAD the development of a neural network based natural object
categoriser for laboratory use. The existing prototype (UNIX
platform)is capable of categorising 23 species of marine plankton, but
has to be further developed and a user interface tailored to Marine
Ecologists.
You should have a working knowledge of wavelet transforms, current
machine vision techniques and multi-dimensional clustering statistics.
You should ideally be familiar with UNIX and Windows NT operating
systems as well as being a Matlab and C++ programmer.
The POST IS AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY and will involve some European
travel.
