Part-time Research Network Assistant

Applications are invited for a two year research network
assistant position. You will support a new international research
network in the areas of neural networks and computational
neuroscience in the framework of the EPSRC project EmerNet.
The exciting new project examines the possible benefits of
neuroscience and brain architectures for computational neural
networks in the future.

The candidate will play a key role in the support of this international
research network including set up of web server for the
network, restricted web programming, design and maintenance
of web pages, collection of material in computational neuroscience,
organisational  support and administration for international
workshops and technical writing.

Candidates should have a degree in a Computing/Neurobiology/
Neuroscience discipline and an interest in artificial neural
networks and computational neuroscience.  Good communication
and technical writing skills are required and some software
engineering experience is  an advantage.  There will be a
possibility to register for PhD part-time if so desired.

18.5 hours per week
12,733 - 14,222 (pro-rata)
