ANNOUNCEMENT: ASPeCT Fraud Detection Workshop

ASPeCT (Advanced Security for Personal Communications Technologies) is a
Europe wide research project which is part of the European Commissions'
ACTS programme.  One of the topics addressed by ASPeCT has been the
investigation of fraud detection techniques for third generation mobile
telecommunications using Neural Networks.

On behalf ASPeCT I would like to invite you to the ASPeCT Fraud Detection
Workshop to be held on Friday 16th October 1998 at Savill Court Conference
Centre, Egham, Surrey, England.

The aims of the workshop are to promote awareness of the problems of fraud
detection in mobile telecom technology and credit risk assessment using
automated techniques.

The speakers are from the ASPeCT fraud detection project and experts from
industry who will relay their experiences in this rapidly changing
research area.

The cost of the workshop is 50 UK Pounds, this will include lunch, coffee
breaks and proceedings.  Places are strictly limited.
