PhD Studentship
Applying Neural Networks in Microwave CAD
Applications are invited for a PhD research studentship to participate
in an EPSRC funded project on applying neural networks in microwave
CAD. The aim of the project is to develop and facilitate a neural
network modeling technique suitable for fast analysis and optimization
of multilayer monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs).
The studentship covers the standard fees and an annual stipend of
£7,479 for three years.
Applicants should have at least an upper second class degree in one of
these disciplines: electronic engineering, physics or computer
science. Knowledge of microwave engineering, computer simulation or
neural networks would be desirable.
