The NEC Research Institute in Princeton, NJ has an immediate opening
for a student research position in the area of autonomous citation
indexing (ACI) and machine learning, graph analysis or user profiling.
ACI autonomously creates citation indexes which can provide a number
of advantages over existing citation indexes and digital libraries for
scholarly dissemination and feedback. Some recent related papers are
listed below and those and others can be found at the listed Web site.

Candidates must have experience in research and be able to effectively
communicate research results. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of
a number of the following: machine learning, graph analysis, user
profiling, information retrieval, digital libraries, WWW, Perl, C++,
and HTML.
