A one day research seminar

Computer Learning Research Centre, Department of Computer Science 
Royal Holloway, University of London, 30th anniversary year (1997-98) 

The fourth of a series of one-day colloquia organised by the research
groups in the Department. The programme includes invited lectures on key
research topics in this rapidly developing field with the main themes of
Machine Learning and Inductive Inference. Speakers include Jorma
Rissanen, Ray Solomonoff, Vladimir Vapnik, Chris Wallace and Alexei
Chervonenkis.  The occasion will also mark the foundation of the
Computer Learning Research Centre at Royal Holloway, University of London.
