POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN COMPUTATIONAL MODELLING
OF COGNITIVE-AFFECTIVE PROCESSES.

MRC COGNITION AND BRAIN SCIENCES UNIT, CAMBRIDGE, UK

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral scientist to join the
Cognition & Emotion group. This new position has been created to
facilitate the development of computationally explicit models of
affective processes, or their neural bases, and related research.
Applicants should have experience in computational modelling and have a
strong interest in affect and/or affective disorders. The successful
applicant would be expected to develop collaborations with other
scientists in the group, and would also have the opportunity to develop
their own research in a related area.


Appointment would be for an initial period of 3 years, with the
possibility of transfer to a career track position.  Starting salary
would be in the range range =A315,000 to =A324,000 per annum supported by a
performance related pay scheme and MRC pension scheme. Further
