PhD Fellowships, Fall 1999
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Laboratory
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, is now accepting
applications for PhD fellowships. Students may study any of a wide
range of computer science topics, including high-level connectionist
modeling, intelligent robotic control, textual processing, software
agency, data mining, and methods of emergent computation.
Five fellowships are available starting Fall 1999, each providing
$15k/year plus tuition. Each fellowship is renewable for a total of 4
years.
Candidates for this fellowship should be US citizens, or permanent
residents of the US.
UA is located in the Ozark Mountains on the borders of Arkansas,
Missouri, and Oklahoma.
Applicants should apply to the Graduate School, and for a Graduate
