Cognitive Systems Engineer

Battelle, a leading provider of technology solutions, has immediate need for a
research engineer to join their cognitive systems initiative in their Columbus,
Ohio, USA facility.  The new position will provide technical support to a
multi-year corporate project applying adaptive/cognitive information technology
to applications in emerging technology areas.

The position requires a B.S./M.S. in Computer and Information Science,
Electrical Engineering, or related field with a specialization or experience in
artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, evolutionary computing/genetic
algorithms, and  statistical methods.  In addition, the position requires
intimate knowledge of Matlab, C/C++ language and object-oriented programming.
Oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills are essential to this
highly interactive position.  The applicant selected will be subject to a
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to
classified information.
