NIPS*97 Travel Grants

Neural Information Processing Systems Conference
			
			NIPS*97

Limited funds will be available to support the travel of young
investigators, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students to NIPS.
Awards will be based on both merit and need. The amount of aid will
generally not exceed $400 per domestic participant, $600 for
international attendees.  Conference registration is not covered by
travel awards.

To apply, send (1) a one page resume, and (2) a one page (max)
justification.  Particularly state whether applicant is an
author/presenter on a paper submitted or accepted to NIPS*97, and/or
whether applicant is an official participant in a NIPS workshop. 
Include return email address for notification.

Applications must arrive by Oct. 1 to be considered. Notification will
be sent by email in late October.
