Post-doctoral position in image processing and neural networks.

At: CTS - Center for Research on Transportation and Society, Borlange, Sweden.

CTS is an interdisciplinary transport research institute attached to Dalarna
University, located 2 hours northwest of Stockholm.  Research areas at CTS
are transport economics, transport sociology and transport technology.

Description of postion:
The position involves a complete camera-image processing-neural network
classifier chain and will be used to determine road conditions.  The project
is financed by the Swedish National Road Administration. 

Candidate profile:

Ph.D. in image processing or signal processing
Knowledge of statistics
Programming in C or Matlab
Willingness to acquire images outdoors in inclement weather (cold, rain, snow)
