	       Special Session on Intelligent Robotics

                   2nd International Conference on

             COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND NEUROSCIENCE

                           March 2-5, 1997


SUBMISSION DEADLINE:
	December 6, 1996.

This session will include a combination of invited and submitted
articles in the area of intelligent robotics. We welcome submissions
describing applied work utilizing traditional AI, neural networks,
fuzzy logic, reinforcement learning, or any other technique relevant
to the main themes of the conference. Preference will be given to
papers describing work done on real robotic systems, though simulator
results will be acceptable when the potential applicability to real
robots is clear.

Submissions need to conform to the format specified for ICCIN'97:
summary papers shall not exceed 4 pages of 10-point font,
double-column, single-spaced text, (1 page minimum) with figures and
tables included.  Any summary exceeding 4 pages will be charged $100
per additional page.  Three copies of the summary are required by
November 15, 1996.  After acceptance, a deposit of $150 check must be
received by January 31, 1997, to guarantee the publication of the 4
pages summary in the Proceedings.  $150 can be deducted from
registration fee later.

Alternatively, you may submit your camera-ready paper
electronically. Postscript is preferred. If you have a different
format (e.g., Word, Frame, ...), please send me e-mail ahead of time
to gaudiano at cns.bu.edu to see if an electronic submission is possible.

If you have already submitted a relevant paper in response to the
original ICCIN call for papers, please notify the coordinator (George
Georgiou, georgiou at csci.csusb.edu) that you would like to be
considered for this session.
