will be provided
WHERE: Caltech, Watson building 104
REGISTRATION: If you are interested, please register

- ---------------
This workshop is intended for researchers in controls and in neural
networks, and aims at exploring areas of common interest. Emphasis
will be on tools of (linear and nonlinear) identification theory and
their application to special classes of dynamic systems describing
neural networks.
The meetings are intended to explore the different areas at an
introductory level; the speakers will summarize a particular area
(which does not necessarily coincide with their own area of research)
and provide a tutorial presentation as free as possible from
specialized jargon, with the objective of generating a high degree of
interaction among participants.
Among the topics we will cover:
Classical stochastic realization and estimation theory
Conventional linear identification
Neural Networks and approximation
Wavelets in identification
Behavioural approach to representation and identification of systems
nonlinear identification and embedding theorems
Any change in the schedule and/or program will be posted
on the WEB site.
