1.   LECTURESHIPS IN PSYCHOLOGY

Applications are invited for four lectureships tenable from 1 October 1995.
The successful candidates will be active researchers in their respective
fields as below:

a)   Cognitive science, particularly computational modelling of
     cognitive functions.  Teaching duties include a significant
     contribution to the undergraduate programme in Cognitive
     Science

b)   Developmental psychology.  Teaching involves both the
     undergraduate and MSc Educational Psychology degree
     programmes.

c)   Social psychology.  Teaching duties include contributing to
     the undergraduate social psychology programme.

d)   Cognitive neuroscience, particularly cognitive
     neuropsychology.  Teaching duties involve organising
     undergraduate labs and providing lectures in
     neuropsychology.

Posts A, B and C are permanent while post D is temporary for two years but
with the possibility of being made permanent.

The appointments will be made at the appropriate points on the Lecturer A
scale (currently !14,756 - !19,326), possibly Lecturer B, plus London
Allowance of !2,134.
