TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION

The Center for Neuroscience and the Department of Psychology at the 
University of California, Davis, invite applications for a tenure-track 
position at the assistant professor level in the area of computational 
neuroscience.  Candidates specializing in analytical approaches and 
predictive modeling of perceptual and/or motor circuitry in vertebrates are 
encouraged to apply.  Postdoctoral experience is desirable.  Ideal candidates 
would also incorporate neurophysiological, neuroanatomical, 
psychophysical, and/or cognitive-experimental techniques to test models.  
The appointee will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level 
courses in his/her areas of expertise.  The University of California is 
interested in candidates who are committed to the highest standards of 
scholarship and professional activities.  This position is open until filled, 
but applications must be received by May 1, 1995 to be assured full 
consideration.
