      SENIOR LECTURER IN THE SCHOOL OF COMPUTING SCIENCE

              QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

INTRODUCTION

The Faculty of Information Technology is located on the
Gardens Point (City Centre) campus of Queensland University of
Technology.  It currently comprises three Schools: Computing
Science,  Data Communications and Information Systems and four
Research Centres: Cooperative Information Systems, Information
Security, Neurocomputing and Programming Languages and
Systems.  In addition, the Faculty is a major partner in the
Commonwealth funded Distributed Systems Technology Centre.

POSITION

The appointee will be responsible to the Head, School of
Computing Science and will be expected to undertake a
leadership role in teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate
courses, in research and in academic administration.

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:

Applicants must have a doctoral qualification or equivalent
accreditation or standing, and must have a record of
demonstrable scholarly achievement in one or more of the
following areas of computer science: programming languages,
software engineering, operating systems, neurocomputing or
computer architecture.

SALARY:
Salary will be in the range $50,225 to $$57,913.
