Soft Computing:
Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks, and Genetic Algorithms
Three short courses
San Francisco, CA
October 24-28, 1994
Traditional (hard) computing methods do not provide sufficient
capabilities to develop and implement intelligent systems. Soft
computing methods have proved to be important practical tools to build
and construct these systems.
The following three courses, offered by Intelligent Inference Systems
Corp., will focus on all major soft computing technologies: fuzzy logic,
neural networks, genetic algorithms, and genetic programming. These
courses may be taken either individually or in combination.
Course 1: Artificial Neural Networks (Oct. 24)
Bernard Widrow and David Stork
Course 2: Genetic Algorithms and Genetic Programming (Oct. 25)
John Koza and Darrell Whitley
Course 3: Fuzzy Logic Inference (Oct. 26-28)
Lotfi Zadeh, Jim Bezdek, Enrique Ruspini,
Piero Bonissone, and Hamid Berenji
For further details on course topics and registration information, send
an email to iiscorp at netcom.com or contact Intelligent Inference
