Mailing List on Statistics, Natural Language, and Computing
We will be maintaining a special-purpose mailing list
to provide a platform for
- discussing technical issues,
- distributing abstracts of new papers,
- locating and sharing information, and
- announcements (workshops, jobs)
related to
corpus-based studies of natural language, statistical natural
language processing, methods that enable systems to deal with
and scale up to actual language use, psycholinguistic evidence
of representation of distributional properties of language, as
well as applications in such areas as information retrieval,
human-computer interaction, and translation.
Special care will be taken to keep uninformed or redundant
messages at a minimum; the list is filtered and restricted
to people actively involved in relevant research.
To be added to or dropped from the distribution list send
a message to empiricists-request at csli.stanford.edu.
Contributions should go to empiricists at csli.stanford.edu.
