              READERSHIPS/LECTURESHIPS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

Candidates are sought for the above posts to strengthen and expand the work of
the Department.

The key requirement is a proven ability to undertake high-quality research in
Computer Science.  Applicants for Readerships will have a substantial research
record and have made a significant impact in their chosen area.  Potential
Lecturers will already have a publication record that demonstrates their
research ability.  Although areas of special interest are Neural Networks,
Software Engineering, Database Techniques and Artificial Intelligence,
excellent candidates in other fields will be considered.
