Time-unfolding

Dear connectionists,

I've been doing a little work with Time-Unfolding Networks
(first mentioned, I think, in PDP), and getting pretty terrible results.
My intuition is that I've misunderstood the model. Does anyone
out there use this model ? If so, would you be prepared to exchange
benchmark results (or even better, software) and compare notes ?
