I am currently exploring various models used in computer simulations of real neurons,
particularly implementations of spike initiators. i have been looking at the two time-
constant model proposed by Hill and others many years ago, a temperature-scaled version
of the Hodgkin-Huxley model, and the model proposed by Frankenhauser and Dodge.

Are people aware of other spike initiator models being used in computer models of
biological neurons?

thanx,
