   Dear connectionist:

        I am Masahiro Kayama, a visiting scholar of UCLA from Hitachi Ltd.,
   Japan.  I am investigating to introduce Kohonen feature map into the 
   feature extraction module of the Factory Automation Controller.
	Does anyone know how to determine a suitable size of units of a
   feature map?  Are there any deterministic equation between a capacity
   of a object and a number of units?  I am thinking two dimensional map.
