I have a small NSF grant to investigate statistical
aspects of machine learning and its relation to neural networks.
Dr. H. Gigley suggested to me that I would find it
worthwhile the have my name added to a mailing list
in the NN  topic area.  Attached to her message was
a news item bearing your address.
