organization levels

   Alain Grumbach is looking for a formal description of organization
levels.
I dont know any formal response to this question, but in Biology
this concept seems clear: see for instance the wonderfull book of
Francois Jacob: La logique du vivant. But Biology is not a formal
science. Thus it will not give a formal response. In AI or in ANN
I think that the question of organization levels is akin to the
problem of a definition of complexity wich was yet discussed here
some months ago.
