Scott, I think you could have read my message differently.  My objection
was to the absence of anything to share.  I maybe should have made this
clear in 4 pages of submission but (perhaps mistakenly) did not wish to
take up bandwidth.  Normally when people introduce themselves on the list
(if they choose to do so) they write about what is of interest to the list.
