I didn't think Geoff said it was so inferior...in fact there
is lots of reason beleive it is quite similar to
backpropagation noting of course that it can compute
higher order correlations between input and output..
Although the annealings make it slow...but with a
vlsi implementation as was done recently at bellcore
speed could be much improved...
