About 7 minutes after Mononito had published his paper on his new foundational model for time series on arxiv, we received an email message from a prominent expert (and a rival of sorts) with a detailed yet constructive criticism of it. The speed at which that person reacted makes me want to learn which fast reading and comprehension of technical text tools he is using :) And it looks like the community thinks that our model is indeed the first published foundational model for time-series. Now Jessie found out that the movie is already put together and ready for public screening on March 12 here in Squirrel Hill. The interview was about patient safety and the potential role of AI in supporting it. I don't really recall anymore what I might have said, and of course I have no clue how much of that and what parts the movie makers chose to include. Of course there is a good chance I might have said something silly (or more than one such thing), so if you attend, you might have fun witnessing it :p The good thing is that the movie director, Mike Eisenberg, took interviews with more people, most notably with our solid research partner and a renowned epidemiologist Dr. Lee Harrison, who is the PI for our EDS-HAT project. I would like to hear what he had to say. Anyhow, the screening will be in Manor Theater, the link to book *free* tickets and the password to get in, can be found below.
