Dear Autonians,

I am excited to inform you that we are about to be delighted with a new
product from the prolific writer, the creator of the Detective Runtime
character himself, our own, esteemed, Dr. Jeremy Kubica!

His new book, titled "Data Structures the Fun Way: From Binary Search to
QuadTrees in 100 Cups of Coffee", is to be released in the Fall (you can
already preorder it on amazon).

Jeremy is renowned for authoring clever introductions to computing and
algorithms for school children. If you have or plan to have a kid, or just
to prepare for such possibility in the future, you should brace for it by
getting your and your childrens' hands on all of the following terrific
pieces of art:
"Computational Fairy Tales" (2012)
"Best Practices of Spell Design" (2013)
"The CS Detective: An Algorithmic Tale of Crime, Conspiracy, and
Computation" (2016)

As you know, at the Auton Lab we are permanently hungry for talented young
people, so I am very grateful to Jeremy for giving us tools to grow such
talent in-the-house.

As a follower of his literary talent, I am noticing that Jeremy traces his
original audience as it matures: the newest book seems to be meant for
grown ups. I am sure it will be a fun read, and maybe we could read it
together in our "Code & Coftea" meetings at the Lab.

Or, better yet, we will ask the author to read it for us :-)

Way to go Jeremy!

Cheers,
Artur
