Welcome to SL4AD @ ICML 2022 — Information (happening now live!)

We are excited to welcome you to the 1st Workshop on Safe Learning for
Autonomous Driving, co-located with the 39th International Conference on
Machine Learning; the event is being held on 22 July 2022 in Baltimore
(USA) and online.

With the help of our Organizing and Program Committees, we have put
together a compelling schedule of invited talks and contributed works,
delivered in-person and online. We envision this hybrid workshop bringing
together researchers and industry practitioners from different AI subfields
to work towards safer and more robust autonomous driving technology.

We also feature results from the first Learn-to-Race Autonomous Racing
Virtual Challenge, which received over 20,100 views, 437 active
participants, 46 teams, and 733 model submissions — from 88+ unique
institutions, in 58+ different countries.

Keynote talks will be delivered by esteemed faculty, scientists, and
engineers from all across the autonomous driving space, highlighting such
topics as: learning strategies for autonomous systems (e.g.,
self-supervision, meta-learning, game theory), learning alongside unstable
dynamics, rewards and safety-rule design, sensor fusion, and real-world
vehicle development.
Dr. Jeff Schneider will be presenting in the workshop as well.

Ways to engage:
