Permission denied error on scratch directory on all GPUs

I would also like to add that I'm also having similar issues with all of
CPUs as well;

yeehos at lov5$ ls -l
total 8
drwxr-xr-x.   3 root        root          20 Oct  1  2019 MATLAB
drwx------.   5 auton-local auton-local  138 Oct  1  2018 auton-local
drwx------. 131 root        root        4096 Mar 31 22:19 scratch
