ipython2 broken on all servers

I upgraded ipython on all computing nodes. ipython starts for me with
the root account but it will not start with my regular user network
account. That indicates that there is some kind NFS issuep. Somebody
must be heavily writing/reading from the file server or stale NFS file
handles. I would wait a bit to see if the problem resolves by itself.
Obvius "easy" solution would be to clear things by rebooting file server
and computing nodes.
