Thanks Ben!
A few points to add:
1. The Lab buys the tickets.
2. More on the movie can be found here:
http://www.bfi.org.uk/news-opinion/sight-sound-magazine/reviews-recommendations/film-week-dreamcatcher
3. It looks like we will have the main character present in the room in
person.
4. Those of us who are involved in anti-trafficking research sometimes
feel frustrated upon realization that relatively little is being done
to support victims pulled from circulation by law enforcement, and how
many of them return to the old business after being rescued. We have
imagined better effectiveness of rescue. This movie and the presence of
one of the survivors gives us a chance to improve understanding of these
issues. Recall that our original intention behind Traffic Jam was helping
the victims. Our current technology supports law enforcement and it
clearly leads towards that goal, but somewhat less directly than we have
imagined. Could more be done?
