It's a great tool to store information on all sorts of collaborative things, and to keep documentation. Visit http://www.autonlab.org/wiki On privacy: Nobody without an account can edit pages. Nobody outside of CMU can read pages. Nobody can create an account without my help So, if you don't have one yet, contact me, we'll make an account, and if you like I'll briefly show you how to edit pages. -- Pat Gunn Research/Systems Programmer, Auton Group, CMU From dpelleg+ at cs.cmu.edu Wed May 5 16:07:34 2004 From: dpelleg+ at cs.cmu.edu (Dan Pelleg) Date: Wed, 5 May 2004 16:07:34 -0400 Subject: [auton-users] WikiWikiAuton In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <16537.18822.442571.339762@lark.auton.cs.cmu.edu> Pat Gunn writes: > Hey all, > We now have a Wiki. > It's a great tool to store information on all sorts > of collaborative things, and to keep documentation. > Visit http://www.autonlab.org/wiki > > On privacy: > Nobody without an account can edit pages. > Nobody outside of CMU can read pages. > Nobody can create an account without my help > > So, if you don't have one yet, contact me, we'll make an > account, and if you like I'll briefly show you how to edit > pages. > Cool! Hopefully the existing doc will turn up there soon. I noticed the front page says: "All text is available under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License." I'm not familiar with the GFDL. Can you explain what it means (or tell me this is just boilerplate text, and our wiki is not subject to it, and remove that sentence)? Can you explain what it means (or tell me > this is just boilerplate text, and our wiki is not subject to it, and > remove that sentence)? This is boilerplate, and it'll be removed as I learn how to configure MediaWiki better. -- Pat Gunn Research/Systems Programmer, Auton Group, CMU From tingliu at cs.cmu.edu Sat May 15 01:20:27 2004 From: tingliu at cs.cmu.edu (Ting Liu) Date: Sat, 15 May 2004 01:20:27 -0400 Subject: [auton-users] reserving loq1, lina, lira In-Reply-To: <1080160829.29997.362.camel@localhost> Message-ID: <003e01c43a3c$582190a0$9d460280@Liuting> Hello, I would like to reserve loq1, lina and lira for a week. If so, check under the Applications->Desktop Prefs->Keyboard menu. Something similar probably holds for KDE as well. Of course, all these configurators do is run xset. -Paul Dan Pelleg wrote: > Andrew W Moore writes: > > Please could someone remind me how to alter key auto-repeat-rate > > on linux under xwindows? > > > > Thanks, > > > > Andrew > > xset r rate 660 60 > > > From jmjoseph at andrew.cmu.edu Sat May 15 14:42:14 2004 From: jmjoseph at andrew.cmu.edu (Jacob Joseph) Date: Sat, 15 May 2004 14:42:14 -0400 Subject: [auton-users] lina, lira, loq1 reserved In-Reply-To: <003e01c43a3c$582190a0$9d460280@Liuting> References: <003e01c43a3c$582190a0$9d460280@Liuting> Message-ID: <40A66486.4030205@andrew.cmu.edu> lina, lira, and loq1 are now reserved for Ting. -Jacob Ting Liu wrote: > Hello, > > I would like to reserve loq1, lina and lira for a week. > I am doing a lot of time consuming experiments for NIPS deadline, which is > weeks away. If you don't know how to do this, let me know and we'll get you set up. 2) You should have an account on the wiki, and perhaps be using it to keep useful data. http://www.autonlab.org/wiki is the way to get there, contact me and we'll make an account. If you've already taken care of both of these things, sorry for wasting your time. -- Pat Gunn Research/Systems Programmer, Auton Group, CMU From pgunn at cs.cmu.edu Wed May 26 13:13:59 2004 From: pgunn at cs.cmu.edu (Pat Gunn) Date: Wed, 26 May 2004 13:13:59 -0400 (EDT) Subject: [auton-users] Wiki down Message-ID: The wiki is (temporarily) down, as per Andrew's request.
