While the machines did nearly win the battle today, I was able to 
extinguish the problem.  The scare was a combination of uncertain and 
unreliable temperature readings in combination with truely high 
temperatures.  I believe both are now under control at this point. 
Ignore the extremes on the http://www.autonlab.org/status temperature 
graphs.
