[auton-users] New gcc problems

I don't mind losing // comments. In fact, I rather not have them at all. In
the past I went through a lot of effort to clear the code from them, as
well as other gcc-isms, so that it compiles under Compaq's compiler. I don't
find them that useful or time-saving to begin with. For easy typing, we can
set up an editor macro.
