From awd at cs.cmu.edu Tue Sep 1 15:36:37 2015 From: awd at cs.cmu.edu (Artur Dubrawski) Date: Tue, 1 Sep 2015 15:36:37 -0400 Subject: setting the time for the Auton Lab brainstorming sessions Message-ID: <55E5FE45.9090800@cs.cmu.edu> Team, Welcome back to school! New academic year --> new schedules. Let us find the most opportune time for our (tentatively biweekly) research meetings. Please respond to the following doodle poll: http://doodle.com/d5qr4pc85vqpm68g We intend to hold the first meeting in this year's series at one of the time slots in the poll, and continue weekly or biweekly, depending on the need, thereafter. Also, if you'd like to speak, email Predrag and I with the topic and when would you be ready. Thanks, Artur From awd at cs.cmu.edu Wed Sep 9 11:59:31 2015 From: awd at cs.cmu.edu (Artur Dubrawski) Date: Wed, 9 Sep 2015 11:59:31 -0400 Subject: Would 1:30-2:30pm Monday work for everyone?+ first talk by Maria [Re: setting the time for the Auton Lab brainstorming sessions] In-Reply-To: <55E5FE45.9090800@cs.cmu.edu> References: <55E5FE45.9090800@cs.cmu.edu> Message-ID: <55F05763.3000705@cs.cmu.edu> Autonians, We are converging on a Monday 1pm time slot which has received a decisive majority of votes on Doodle. But there are still a couple of conflicts that could be resolved if we moved the meeting by half an hour to 1:30pm-2:30pm. Please let me know ASAP if you'd have an unavoidable conflict in this alternative 1:30pm slot. If I do not hear any vetoes soon, we will go with 1:30. Either way, we will get going this coming Monday with Maria's presenting her recent work on Canonical Autocorrelation Analysis. We will meet in NSH 3001, food will be provided. Let's assume a 1:30pm start. We have a backlog of people who should present so please anticipate a busy brainstorming schedule, at least in the early parts of the semester.
